The Color of Her Panties=Funny

I just finished this book and I think it was really great. I enjoyed reading it and stayed up past my bedtime to read it. It was very funny and I thought it had a good plot. Sometimes you have a strong feeling about what was going to happen before it happens and I found that when it does happen, it is like a great surprise. It also made my think. I couldn't put it down it was so good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I really liked the books Man From Mundania and Question Quest just a little bit better. It is very funny, as Piers Anthony always is, and the demoness Metria is so funny. She is also one of my favorite characters. I loved all the characters! To put it simple, it was just GREAT!

Can't Get Enough!

The Parker Siblings series is my favorite series. I anxiously awaited the release of this book and it didn't disappoint. In fact, Not Done is my favorite book in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone because it has something for everyone. This book is full of suspense, betrayal, and intrigue while also being funny. The one thing I would suggest is don't read the book until you have time to read it in one sitting. You won't want to put it down.

I want everyone to know right now this book is literally amazing. my god it's like hoping each book in the series gets better then getting smack in the face with a better book than the last. this book will make you laugh but it will also make you anxious and most of all make you ball your eyes out. I had never heard of Leigh Ann Lunsford but boy am I glad I did ... trust me in this you will love her and this series. she is kick ads.

Best book of the series!

Holy obi wan kenobi batman! I freaking loved this book & probably my favorite of all. If I could give 10 Stars, not only this series but this book would deserve it!

Ok, so this is Cambree and Max's story. Cambree has flown the Parker nest and enrolled to college, trying to be the carefree bird being single, going to parties, getting drunk, making out with random strangers.

Cambree doesn't know Max's secret while working undercover to watch over her and also make sure Brent doesn't come near her while in college. Max doesn't give up and asks to meet her at a coffee shop and when they finally may have a second chance, Cambree gets hurt and sent to the hospital. When Cambree finally wakes up, she remembers the attack and also finds out that the Baird brothers were undercover trying to protect her the whole time. This breaks her heart and she feels betrayed and lied too once again.

"We are stubborn and fierce. We love hard, fight hard, but above all, we are family in every sense of the word. You wrong one of us; you hurt all of us. And that is not a pleasant place to be."~Brielle

Max is so broken hearted and thought he had his second chance with Cambree but when secrets are revealed, he has to work even harder and doesn't give up. Mitch and Max work together to wrap up this investigation up because they don't want any more secrets from his siblings and ready to tell them the truth and put this behind him. The Baird brothers thought they found the answers needed to put this to an end with Brent and make sure he is in prison for good but things get in the way once again. Max is beside himself because he thinks if things don't end soon, that it may be an end for him and Cambree as well.

"I am afraid I will always love him, and one thing I could never deny is that I do love him. It was almost instantaneous for me. Hook, line, and sinker with that boy." ~ Cambree

The whole time reading this book, I caught myself laughing so hard that I was literally crying. There are so many favorite quotes that were highlighted. I will read the full series once Dustin's book comes out in July. The ending of this one just broke my heart and I wanted to reach in and hug the Parker Siblings myself.

"I didn't realize how close he moved to me during his speech. I notice now because my breath is coming out in pants, I am so turned on by him, I don't know if I can speak, and all I want to do is pull him to me and let nature take its course." ~Cambree

About the Author
Brian H. Ross is a Professor of Psychology and of the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research areas have included problem solving, complex learning, categorization, reasoning, memory, and mathematical modeling. He has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, and the Institute of Education Sciences. Ross has been Editor-in-Chief of the journal Memory & Cognition, Chair of the Governing Board of the Psychonomic Society, and co-author of a textbook, Cognitive Psychology. He has held temporary leadership positions on the University of Illinois campus as Department Head of Psychology, Associate Dean of the Sciences, and Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Ross has degrees from Brown University (B.S., Honors in Psychology), Rutgers University (M.S. in Mathematical Statistics), Yale University (M.S. in Psychology), and Stanford University (PhD.). A book that gives medical mistakes a name and face

I bought this book in hardcover and gave it to a friend after I had read it but bought it in paperback to have another copy for me.This book puts a name and face to the medical errors we have all have heard about that take a vast number of lives every year.You will love this little girl Josie and grieve for her parents and family when she becames a victim to needless medical errors.But her mother is able to take that anger and grief and create The Josie King Foundation to help get the word out to Healthcare workers and patients and their familes that there is much that can be done to prevent these medical errors from ever happening to anyone.This is an inspiring book and really a book of hope that one day soon all medical care can truly be safe.

I love how the story told the tragic story of Jose and sorrell opened herself and family up to witness her grief. I love how she told us how she struggled and now is changing the culture of healthcare.

Many Errors and Dated Content

I was really tempted to rate this book two stars, but I gave it three because I'm only 117 pages into the book and I hope it will get better.

First, the book has many errors. These are not typos, but content errors that have caused me great frustration and time wasted. I am new to CentOS, so my learning curve is steep. For the beginner, this can be very frustrating. The book is written for CentOS 5.3, but teaches concepts from older versions of CentOS. I'll give some examples of errors from only one chapter - chapter 3:

P. 81 - "Using the Fast User Switch applet, you can switch between different desktop users without shutting down the current desktop." There is no fast switch applet installed or available in a package for download. I googled this and couldn't find anything.

p. 86 - Talks about the following applets for the gnome desktop: Deskbar, CPU Temperature, Moon Data, and Network Traffic. None of these applets exist in CentOS 5.3 and are not available packages (except Network Traffic i.e. gnome-applet-netspeed, which must be downloaded separately, but the book doesn't tell you this).

p. 106 - "Under the 'Link to Device' submenu..." However, the book doesn't tell you where this sub-menu is. You have to infer this from a vague reference at the top of the page. Little stuff like this just wastes the learner's time.

p. 117 - "You may need to run system-config-mouse to get the mouse working properly after this." There is no "system-config-mouse" in CentOS 5.3! Again the wasted time and frustration trying to find something that isn't there.

I hope these errors are not a preview of what is to come.

I am a Computer Science Major at UT San Antonio and have experience with servers... I bought this book expecting to use it as a reference guide... After spending days on problems and attempting to follow this book, I decided to look on the internet and that's where I found answers... The book just scratches the surface of MANY things, such as ftp, backup, and httpd services... I would NOT recommend this book to anyone!

East meets West in the Heavenly Realms

Energy masters Chia and Wei have kicked astrology up a notch. They have pulled together five different systems of astrology -- some eastern, some western -- to give us the most complete description of the energy pattern that existed at our birth. The five systems are: the twelve Chinese animal signs, the twelve Western astrology signs, the Western Sun and Moon Sign combinations, the Chinese animal and Western sign combinations, and the Birth Personality and Destiny Cards. Each system is described in detail and charts are provided so that we can each find the specific sign or combination that applies to us. This is the first time I've come across the Birth Cards system. It turns out that it is centuries old, and I must admit the description associated with my card resonated rather dramatically with me.

This might seem like an odd topic for these two Taoist superstars to invest their time in, but there is much esoteric information provided along with the day-to-day aspects. Can not put this book down!

This is one of those books you need to grab a few friends and just hand it around checking everyone's signs. It has EVERYTHING in it....charts for moon signs, sun signs, birth card signs, zodiac signs, etc. I just keep wanting to check out everyone's descriptions, from my kids to my coworkers and friends, even my favorite artists and celebrities. I highly recommend this for anyone who is into astrology!

bad music must go!

The king has had it with his group of musicians. They sound awful together and he has decided that they must be thrown to the crocodiles! Music is also banned from the kingdom. Join this group of musicians as they set out on a quest to save themselves and end up bringing music back to the land! In the back of the book there is an authors note with information about the musical instruments introduced in the story. This would tie in nicely in a classroom during a music unit.

lots of fun to read with your kids

My four-year-old twins LOVE this book. They've assigned us all instruments (son takes mandolin, daughter harp, Dad takes sackbutt, Mom has contrabass recorder), and they LOVE to "play" each part as it comes up in the book. Then for a grand finale, we all "play" together. Most of the fun is in making the instrument sounds, but it's definitely one-of-a-kind.
