There was also great emphasis on the author's hopes of ameliorating and Judeo-Christian cultural relationships and understanding, as well as fostering a greater openness on the part of both groups for honest and humble discussion.
The author's style is very scholarly, engaging to a deep intellectual level and full of college-level vocabulary. Those wishing for light, conversational, bed-side reading will probably be discouraged and/or put to sleep.
