Definitely buy if you're considering a service-learning model

Highly useful for programs, colleges/universities, or community constituents who are considering service-learning approaches or already have them. The book contains chapters that examine all aspects of service-learning: set-up, assessment, pre-/post-preparation, legalities and logistics, and making the most of the experience. There's even a chapter with a student perspective.
I used it to get ideas for what others are doing at their sites and to find better ways of assessing our programs.
