Terrific collection

Includes Arboret. That should be enough enticement if you're truly a font freak. Pages have maps/grids/graphics to show you what characters are actually there. Sometimes a few dingbats are incl. Some (many?) western European (non-English) characters are absent.
Hope there will be a second set of Victorian fonts from Dover.

CLASSIC STYLE AT BUDGET PRICE

The Victorians were responsible for some really hideous, over-decorated typeface designs - but you won't find them in this book. This Dover collection of 24 fine examples from the 19th century include many elegant faces deserving of more exposure, together with lightly-ornamented designs which recapture the charm of a bygone age. This isn't a reference book you'll leave on the shelf. The 24 faces are supplied as good quality Postscript and TrueType faces on CD-Rom. All have been deftly restored to their full glory - there are no broken kerns and worn hairlines with these little gems. My guess is that you'll find a use for most of them within a few months of receiving your copy. A must for any designer's library and a typographer's dream.

What Beauties!

These Victorian fonts were from a period of "anything goes" in type design and everyone will surely find some goodies here. Dan Solo had a huge collection of great old and new type faces. You'll find 24 of them here. Some, you might already have, and some are so nice that I believe if you find one gem here, it makes the price worthwhile. The fonts are in both Windows True Type and Macintosh formats. The pages have the complete alphabets and a character chart. Be sure to notice the "extra characters" that are offered in some fonts.

This 3-in-1 by Roald Dahl is very good. I recommend this book to all you readers out there! The BFG is a book where an orphan Sophie is sleeping one day. She comes across a Big Friendly Giant. They find out that this giant's fellow giants are plotting to guzzle the Queen! What comes after this is all up to you to read and find out! Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator just sends you into pieces. It's off to another adventure with Willy Wonka and Charlie! Ferocious monsters and close shaves they will find on this journey in space. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the sequel before Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, is about Charlie winning a chocolate prize and wins a trip to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Chocolate... and trouble is brewing when the other winners are met with mishaps and Charlie and Mr Wonka have to save them! What could be better than this fantabulous book? Maybe two of these books...

I adore the book, Matilda. This is an incredible and facinating book for children. It has un unpredictable chapters that catch the readers attention. You woudn't excpect anything that's going to occur. This book is also packed with fantastic figretive language. It has alliteration, onamonipeia, similes, metaphors, and even hyperboles. For exsample, shes going to explode, that's as huge as a skyscraper, or BAM and DRIP! I highly recommend this book for children through 3rd and 6th grade that enjoy magic, sespense, and humorous words and sentences.

By doing so, he seeks to recover an all but forgotten approach to the question of justice, one still worthy of being called scientific.
